Cute Korean products

Image
Ever since I received the Red Appletox moisturiser in a Memebox I have been obsessed with fruit shaped beauty products and sadly it has also led me onto collecting anything cute to the point I have quite a collection, a lot of it Tonymoly, and here is most of my collection. Tonymoly eggs (Blackhead steam balm, tightening cooling pack and silky smooth balm) This is a three step nose pore cleansing step These are probably my favourite products from the Tonymoly food shaped products I have bought so far. This is a great set of products as they deal really effectively with blocked pores on the nose as it a three step process by using the scrub then the mask then the balm. I have found that the scrub and the mask are very effective used together to clean the pores but I have to admit that the last step, the balm, doesn't wow me. If I wore makeup all the time it may be great as it gives a more flawless look with foundation but for me I don't wear enough makeup ...

Skinfood Honeypot honey lipbalm

Image
I will admit that I am a cute korean product addict and anyone seeing my Instagram would probably agree. a cute honeypot with a functional yet sweet looking stirrer adds to the luxe effect of this product. So, when I saw these honeypot lipbalms on testerkorea I just had to have one. These are shaped like honeypots with tiny wooden stirrers that are used to apply the product, negating a sticky finger effect after use. A soft, luxurious liquid texture on the lips. The product has no taste and only a slightly fruity scent to me but it feels amazingly decadent on the lips. It has a honey like texture that is easily applied with the stirrer and leaves my lips soft and moisturised. It has a low price point of 5,200 won (about £3.50 ish) and a little goes a long way so it is really good value. More info on it can be found here . Although the postage on testerkorea can be restrictive to purchasing if you are buying only a few items if you are ordering anyhow it ...

My holy grail products

Image
To the most part there is a constant turnover of the products in my house so when I do find a holy grail product (or product type in the case of one of these) it is rare.  But in the last six months, or so, I have found some so here they are:   Micellar Waters Garnier micellar waters I use these for my initial cleanse, I double cleanse most times before using a toner, and have found these applied on a large cotton pad are great for an initial cleanse whether or not I have been wearing makeup that day. I have tried a few brands and particularly enjoyed the Boots Botanics All Bright Micellar 3 in 1 Cleansing Solution as it gave a great healthy glow to my skin as well as the Garnier Micellar waters. I have tried pink topped waters ( Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water 400ml) and the green topped waters ( Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Cleansing Water Combination & Sensitive Skin 400ml) from Garnier and have found the green less drying on the skin. ...

Etude house give me chocolate eyeshadows first impressions and swatches

Image
Some products arrive on the market and they sell out really fast and these are products that sold out really fast, maybe in a day or so on testerkorea, as these are limited-edition. I think a lot of the reason why these sold out is due to the packaging and I have to admit that when I saw them that was why I wanted to purchase them. These are the etude house give me chocolate eyeshadows and below I will swatch and show you how they look in their packaging. This is the outside packaging. They have card slip cases on the outside and are sturdy but functional. They show the ingredients on the reverse in English as well as a speel that these are great as chocolate is always a good answer for any issue in life. I have to agree but in the case of these they are a no calorie chocolate treat. Also will last longer than a chocolate bar in my house. Inside they are a little smaller than the outside packaging but they are still a good size at 4.5g. Also they are great as...

Sally's box Delight Panthenol Hydrogel Mask

Image
I have quite a few sheets masks stashed so when Genie from Geniesfavouriteproducts, who I know from MUT, suggested that we do a #maskgeniechallenge which involves using 5 masks in 10 days I was completely on board with that suggestion. This will be my first mask for that challenge.
