So I seem to be having quite a disappointing month this month with beauty boxes.  Thankfully though this one isn't a disappointing box and at £5.95 it is actually the best box that I have had for a while. Tbh though even at full rrp it is great value. Pink parcel is a period box and it includes either tampons or sanitary towels and as well as these you also get snacks and beauty items. Here is what I got in my first ever pink parcel though so you can judge for yourself how good the value of this box is.

I missed the last Souksouk box by days but I am really happy to receive my January box today. To be honest I like a lot of the more natural skincare around but a lot of it is out of my price range so most of the stuff I have is from beauty boxes of the past. The first thing I was struck with when I opened this box was how substantial the magazine is and how beautiful the cover model was. Over the next few days I will probably scroll through the magazine as it looks interesting. These are the products this month and they look like a really good variety and although I know pukka and urban veda I don't know the maker of the lipstick or the nail varnish so it is nice to try new brands. Here are my empties for the month in one of my old birchbox bags. There isn't much and it is all from old beauty boxes. This is the organic Surge gentle cleansing lotion for all skin types. This smells strongly of rosemary and lemon and it was so gentle it didn't sting my eyes or upset my sensitive skin and it was great for removing even the most stubborn make up. I have another one in my stash and will use it after the holidays as I really enjoyed using it and it was very effective. This is the L'Occitane Essential Water and I really loved how tight it made my skin and how delicate the green tea scent is. I got this as a gift and I would probably buy it again although the price tag means it is a considered purchase.
