Some calendars seem to get better and better and at the moment I think that those are the multi brand advent calendars. And today is another fab day.

After issue  with my non beauty advent calendars I'm hoping that this will be better than that.  I'm quite enjoying my multibrand advent calendars so I'm really looking forward to unboxing my lookfantastic, you beauty, and Marks & Spencer advent calendars. So, here are the items for 6 December.

Another day, more doors and to be honest I am really happy with what I have received so far from my calendars and I am looking forward's to today's goodies. M & S is always a nice one to start with and today's box is really sweet and covered in 3. It feels heavier again today and that makes me smile. Today's item is the Cowshed grumpy cow uplifting body lotion and it is in a large 100ml size. This has a citrus scent and I really like it as it is juicy and zesty without being overpowering. It is also nice to receive this as I have never tried anything from this brand before. The full size is 300ml and £20 so this is worth £6.66. Next advent calendar I will look at is my mystery advent calendar, lookfantastic. Today I am really impressed with this one as I have received 10g of the Glamglow supermud clearing treatment. This is probably my favourite mud mask ever and out of the two glamglow masks this is my favourite as I feel it is mor

So, it's day two and we are getting closer to Christmas (yikes!) and looks like there is more nice goodies today.

Okay, I'm back guys and today is the first day of Advent and Christmas is getting extremely close, which is frightening as it feels like it was just summer, well as how much summer as we get in the UK. But back to the cold and the subject of advent calendars. Here are the items in my multi brand advent calendars i.e. m & s, youbeauty and lookfantastic. But enough talking, here's what I received:

Every year I do advent calendar daily unboxings and this year will be no different. The blog has been ice for months but just like every year as Christmas draws near and the days get shorter I get excited as it means that advent calendars will soon be here.

Despite my whinge about the quick sell outs this month I did manage to secure a couple of items from the menu of youbeauty discovery this month as well as two extras. This is my box for May 2015. The first item in my box is an extra and it is a sample of Jimmy Choo Man eau de toilette. This is an odd extra in a box which will be bought predominantly by women for their own use but I am guessing that most people will pass it on to male member of their family or household. I don't think I will be wearing it though but will give it to Paul to wear. The second item in my box this month is the 100% natural vegetable fibre face cloth from TheKonjacSpongeCo. This is shaped in a vague angel shape (mine seems to be divebombing) and the packaging says that it is kinder to the skin than a standard muslin cloth. According to the write up on the back it can be used with or without cleanser for daily cleansing or to remove face masks, hot cleansers and waterproof makeup.

I have been a member of youbeauty discovery box on and off since the second box and only gave up getting them when the offerings became a little too 'samey' for my liking. The other reason behind my exit was that they moved the time that they were releasing their menus. They used to release them at midnight and have now moved it to 7am. Apparantly this move was to stop things selling out fast but from what I can deduce all that is has done is move the sell out under a faster period of time and made it so the system locks down at 7am and is often slow and sluggish for at least fifteen minutes. Hardly their aim tbh. Don't get me wrong, I like the box but lets call a spade a spade. Some months the boxes are still selling out fast. the reason for the move was more to do with people complaining about the late night start and although there was that late start most products were still there by noon on the first back then. But now, that isn't the case anymore as

I really enjoyed doing the advent calendars for 2014 and found it useful as I now have lots of products to use and it also meant I could see the value of the advent calendars ready for 2015. Here are my summaries for each (except Yankee candles) and some of my thoughts on each.

Only two more advent days to write then I am up to date. Sorry for the lack of posts/ long gap but trying to get back to optimal health... Which might be about june. But sorry to go off on a tangent. Here is the day 23 entry for my advent calendars.

Another advent calendar entry and another good day for me with products I will use. Will definitely be hard to decide order of preference today as they are mostly great with one making me really excited.

I am slowly getting through the backlog of my advent calendar days and I am finding that the last few days seem to add a lot of nice products to my stash and day 21 seems to be no different with a serum, highlighter, brush, tea light and s eyeliner, which my aunt will enjoy.

Day 20 is a lot more fun than day 19 and it is a day which offers good value in all the advent calendars. But what did I get?

Sorry, this is a little late but this will be the first of my updates on the advent calendars. I will return where I left off when I exited and then sum up each one as I did actually originally purchase all five to assess value for money. Here is day 19 though.

So, thankfully with this post I am up to date with my advent calendars even though I am feeling like I should sleep all the time. I hope you all feel better than I do at the moment and like these posts. So, here are my day 18 goodies:

Another day. Another lot of goodies for my advent calendars. And another day of a horrid cold. But paerhaps these goodies will cheer me up...

Sorry, I am two days behind on my advent calendar but I will catch up today hopefully.  This is day sixteen of my advent calendar and has a nice selection of products.

Another day, five more doors and today is okay but another day that doesn't really blow me away but at least there are no accessories today and the tea light smells nice.

Today's advent calendar picks are a bit meh for me today but all are useful to me, but one, and I like opening the calendars as it is exciting and I knew that eventually I would get a meh day. Unfortunately it is going to be that day today.
