Nail rock glitter nails

I didn't have much luck with the Repstyle yesterday so I decided to take it off all my fingers and use something else and I am really glad I decided to try out one of the kits I received in my December Birchbox. I chose this one (Glitter Dust Red) over the pink one as I thought it would be brighter and I really didn't want to waste the pink in case it went wrong. But did it? Nope.... I did them yesterday and they still look as good as that today. They really were as easy as paint then dunk in the glitter and although messy, my bed now looks festive, they look divine and with a topcoat of my OPI topcoat the glittter stays on well and they are really cheery. This is my thumb close up. Although it isn't perfect I think it will be easier next time and this has given me more confidence to experiment. Thank you Birchbox and nail rock. A great product. x-J-x

This is my second Birchbox this month (although it arrived in Jan it was ordered in Dec) and this is the start of a six month membership my in laws gave me for Christmas as well as the Birchbox Christmas box that was reviewed  here  and that I loved, especially the Macadamia hair masque, which I have repurchased, and the twistbands, which I now have lots of. These are the leaflets from this months box and are very festive. I would like more information in them but the gift tags were very cute and I could attempt the bun. These are the contents inside my bag this month. The logo is lemon yellow and I really like these bags for my empties. So what was in my bag? Firstly, a Twist band in a tangerine Orange colour. Birchbox December 2013

I have to admit my box came at 4pm and by that time the curiosity to see what I had was too much and I first looked at their Facebook site, oh my they have stirred up a hornets nest, and then went and looked at my surveys to see what I would get in my box and to be honest as a Christmas box it was a let down. On receiving it and opening the outside packaging I was pleasantly surprised as the pattern is really nice and my picture doesn't really do it justice. It is reminiscent of lots of Christmas trees to my eyes. Really a lot prettier than the normal box. First thing I saw when I opened the box was a voucher, which I will discuss below, as well as a rather festive looking set of cards as well as my information cards. To be honest I preferred the leaflet and these cards just feel like they are looking for another opportunity to sell to me. Call my a cynic, but it probably is. This is my $20 Baublebar gift card and a bit of a fake gift as all it does is give you free...
