I have fallen behind again as I have been ill but I hope to catch up on reviews today and tomorrow and the first review that I am bringing you is my Birchbox for this month that rocked for me for so many reasons this month. For me this truly was a great box even if I didn't get a beauty blender as I had already received one from them. But even without this is a great box with a happy days theme.

My glossybox this month came in a themed box as it was the Karen Millen special edition.  All in all I am happy with it, although I am cancelling Glossybox again as I much prefer Birchbox and want to try some of the new boxes. However, with the glossybox new cancellation policy I will be getting one more box as I didn't cancel before the 14th... grrrr.

So, I decided to resub to Glamour magazine because my sub had ran out a while ago and I was waiting to see an offer that really jumped out at me this time. So when I saw I could get it for £9 for 12 edition plus a lucky bag I couldn't help but get excited and I was even more excited when my luckybox arrived as it was a huge bag that was full and heavy. So, what did I receive in my Luckybag and why I am so happy?

I have broken my no buy and this close to my birthday I really can't be bothered to get back onto the horse again. I got my birthday money early from hubby so I got some products I want to try, either for my blog or my own personal use or through pure curiosity.  This was done over a few weeks and has some items from superdrug, Asda, yves Rocher, the body shop and a magazine freebie. I also have a few more items coming, including one huge purchase, but I want to clear this stuff from where it was so I am splitting my haul. My first items came from superdrug and are mostly bought for blogposts or through curiosity. From left to right I purchased: Tanya Burr lipgloss in 'Vampire Kiss' Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 005 Crush Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 220 Showy Maybelline New York color tattoo 24hr in 35 On and on bronze. On the nineteenth day of advent my Ciate advent calendar gave to me: A 5ml pot of nail varnish undercoat in the shade 'underwear'. This is a clear undercoat and I look forward to using it as it will be my first base coat and I want to see how much difference it makes to my nail varnish. On the nineteeth day of advent my youbeauty advent calendar gave to me: A  Model Co. Lengthening Mascara in black. It just appears to be a bog standard Mascara to me and I much prefer my other ones to be honest and at the moment I have so many I probably won't use it. This is worth approx. £10.
