I really enjoyed doing my Advent Calendars last year so I have done them again this year. I am shocked though that it is December because I am really wondering where the year went... but, anyway, back to Day 1 of the advent calendars.

My final empties are my skincare products and as you can see it is the biggest category and also the selection I am most passionate about.

My Birchbox came last week and I was really pleased with it but due to other commitments I have only just got around to reviewing this box. This box is a collaboration with Harpers Bazaar and unlike the Lulu guiness box the box has been designed and it isn't just a designed sleeve with one of their grey brown boxes inside.

I asked for a gift subscription from Birchbox this Christmas from the in laws after seeing that anyone you bought a 6 month or year subscription would get the Limited Edition Christmas Box and it was the only way to get it. I have to admit a little curiosity into the Hot Cloth Cleanser has led me onto buying 6 months as well as the fact that my in laws will fund a six month present that won't be a household object that we need rather than something that I want as a luxury, so this year they bought me six months and the free box. It was a lovely looking box.
